Spiders and Cocktails: Jang

Marg and Baako quickly put together a wedding at the ancient ruins, with some usual guests and also Lilith Pleasant, being about as uncomfortably pregnant as Marg.

And just plain uncomfortable, poor girl. Though don’t worry about her: she married Dustin Broke (Angela weeps?) and then Sergio Romeo in rapid succession. Or so the peek through the family tree tells me.

On the whole, Marg and Baako’s wedding party was one of my favorites from setting to just the fun being had thanks to being in Partihaus. What a nice crew. She had taken a big liking to fire dancing.

And with no hard feelings, she made Rachell her seventh girlfriend/boyfriend (all her spouses count towards it too, living or dead) Keep that one in mind for later.

And now there was a crunch. Marg was due to give birth the next morning. Baako’s appointment with Grim was…soon. My only wish was for him not to croak until the birth of Victor’s child/conceiving his.

We spent that night of worry with Mauro and JoAnna, who had become BFFs. There were no hard feelings about what happened to Victor between anyone. Also Baako went to work but he was nowhere near a promotion, sorry man.

And Marg was finally having her baby.

Children gathered around for the birth of Paloma Feng.

And thankfully, Baako was awake too.

Try for Baby was successful, crisis averted.

“…and the prince said, that even in death, new life is birthed.”

“Wowee mum, are you saying that because Baako is dying?”

“Yeah, I am.”

The period of time from Paloma’s birth to Baako’s death was five goddamn hours. Talk about margins!

And for the first time, some of the kids got to dig into Marg’s stack of Moodlet Solvers too. They really mourned that man they knew for a literal day.

Now I had Margarita’s next spouse in my mind, but she did not previously know him, and I wanted to take a breather. She would have to wait until Baako’s child was born and aged to toddler to marry again.

So…stuff happened instead.

On the search for an eighth partner for her aspiration, Marg made moves on Stefan Burke, a grey-haired townie.

“Wow stud, how old are ya?”

“Fourteen!”

“Woops, we are pretending that one never happened!”

I unfortunately left teen/adult romance on, and didn’t hover over Stefan first. Not like I would with that grey hair.

(“Hey why did you have that on?” Was trying to guess where the teen woohoo options were for a different project, it’s about EA genetics and also: lemme live)

She completed Soulmate by making Joaquin Le Chien her eighth partner. No killing, no woohoo just some wholesome kissing.

She fought many during the Neighborhood Brawl day.

And as it turns out, kids can also brawl. They made brawling animations for kids. I love this.

Mauro and his other friend (forget her name now) had no hard feelings over it. It was only a holiday.

Emiliano kicked off a series of birthdays. Or was he the end of it? Not sure right now. Before that, I’m pretty sure Martin Jang was born. Didn’t screenshot it. Imagine another baby.

Mauro had a birthday at the bar, around the same time his friend Hailee Branch did. They both ended up as goth kids.

She was so cute, I gotta admit. They would make perfect vampires in a vampire house.

“I shall bite you in the space of five moons, my pretty.”

Vladislaus Straud was the perfect way to transition from “guys with great careers” to “guys with lots of money.” Or not, he was an ornery bastard who tanked his friendship with Marg multiple times, but I had such an easy time with the first six spouses. I could handle it.

I wanted him to be my first spouse gained without the help of Partihaus, but he ended up joining Partihaus after so many bar dates with Marg that went nowhere.

Paloma became a toddler…I guess you can see Martin’s arm in the corner. How did we get a white baby again?

We didn’t. How cute though! I love the golden eyes with his darker skin.

“See little guy, we’re going to live with a vampire next!”

“W…wampire?”

Marg was taking it very seriously with her new wardrobe.

“I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again, I do not mingle with your kind.”

“Even after I give you some sugar?”

“I simply cannot eat that.”

“My most undead one, I’ll show you what I mean.”

Works every time!

They married at night for Vlad’s sake. We did run into the “cannot marry a sim in your employ” though, even though they were both unemployed. I later learned it had to do with living boyfriends/girlfriends besides the fiancé(e). I had Marg and family move in with Vlad first and elope, hoping to ignore the issue for another day.

Well, another day and no more.
